All are shouting shocked and some rush to Lionel. Cruz shouts to them to step back and keep quiet. Lionel lies groaning on the ground. Sophia rushes to him calling on Lionel. By what she is saying it gets clear that she is still living in the past events. She tells him that she only wanted to frighten him but not to kill him. After all what he has done to her she thought he deserves it. Sophia takes away her artificial beard showing her face to what she thought Lionel not realizing the person lying dead on the ground was Channing. She tells him that she is still alive. If he can't remember "Ferra ma" the island where they have been together.

Warren in the background makes the remark that now he knows from where Channing got his last words "Ferra Ma". Santana says to Cruz that she took Channing as Lionel. Cruz asks her to keep quiet listening with full concentration to what Sophia is telling.

She then all of a sudden shouts, no. Cruz tells Lionel it is enough he can get up. Lionel softly tells Sophia that he is not dead. Cruz only wanted from him to help a person to remember something. Cruz adds that the revolver was only loaded with a blank cartridge.

Eden says, then it has been mom and turning to Cruz she adds and he knew it all the time? Cruz nods.

Sophia not being aware what happens around her in the present reality goes on shouting to Lionel if this is a trap. Then all of a sudden she realises that the person on the ground is Channing and not Lionel. She remembers that she was sending the note and it reached the wrong destination. She starts moaning over what she has done calling for Channing and ending in a desperate shout that she has killed her son and starts to cry and cry and cry.

The two men have problems to bring the total drunken Brick into the car. One of the men thinks after this bottle of Vodka he must be totally drunk. Brick is in a positive delirium finding everything most funny and asking them where they are going to drive.

Amy opens the door it is Minx. She has come with another driver asking him to put down the flowers on the cupboard and go again showing to Amy how helpless she feels without Brick. Amy thanks Minx who also hands over to her a cover. They sit down to talk and Amy tells her about their discovery that the baby is still alive and somebody has stolen it for some reason. One person got killed already. Minx is getting awake asking what would happen if Brick gets hurt. Minx asks her who the father of her baby is. Amy tells her truthfully that she is no more sure who the father is. Minx looks more than surprised and with big eyes to her.

The men blocked the brake and pushed the car till it starts rolling by itself towards the cliff. One of them asks if they should not watch his accident but the other said better not as he is a fearful person. Brick wondering what they want him to do starts driving. One of the men notices that Brick started to drive. The other one told him that this can't be so drunken as he is but has to give in on seeing the fact. They quickly jump into their car and starts driving behind Brick. Brick searches for the light as he can't see the street turning around the wheel at the right moment to remain on the street to the dismay of the two men in seeing him to fail the cliff.

CC softly calls on Sophia. Lindsay standing next to Santana tells her that Channing would turn around in his grave. Santana states that he was killed by a ghost by a person believed to be dead. Ted asks why nobody is taking care for her. Marcello steps forward asking them to let him do this. He kneels down next to Sophia and tells her that he hoped she never will find it out. He asks her to forgive him he has made an oath that she never should get to know about. Sophia tells him to leave her in peace. Ted says that he can't imagine that she really wanted to kill Lionel. Mason wonders if Channing could recognise her before he died. CC asks him to shut up. He turns to Cruz and asks him how he could do this to her. How he could do this to his family. Cruz says, yes this is all his work. Lionel was only acting on his instruction. Eden asks Cruz why? Cruz says that in another way it would never have come to the light. If he only would have come and told them the truth nobody would have believed him.

Sophia goes on mourning and weeping while Marcello tries to calm her. He tells her that she should never get to know about this. Her memory was helping in keeping it away from her. She should now be strong. She did not know that the pistol would fire and that the man who would come through the door will be her son. Sophia says that it was not her son but then again wondering if he was it and coming to the certainty that it was Channing. She asks him why he did not kill her at that time and be prevent her for killing her own son. She tells him now she knows about this dream she was always having. A man was coming to her with a crown of pure gold and then he falls down and she could hear the blood flowing. He tells her that she no more will dream this dream. Now she must be strong. Sophia's condition turns into a very desperate and painful one. She asks Marcello to wake her up at least of this dream. If there is nobody who can wake her up of this terrible dream.

The men have the intention to push Brick's car in a way he is crashing down somewhere. Brick sees them in the view mirror. He wonders why they follow him but is still clear enough to reply his question by himself. He quickly turns the wheel and frightens the men by nearly crashing them. Then he drives towards the city. The men are shocked and drive behind by keeping the speed limit in order not to draw the attention of the police on them. Brick manages to draw the attention of the police on him. He is happy that they come and stop him. He tells the officer that he is having no money is totally drunken and a threat for the public safety. And while holding his arms ready towards them he asks officer to arrest him.

Amy wants to explain her situation with the unknown father to Minx. She should trust her that she did not lie. There was beside Jeff no other man in her life. Then she asks Minx why she is so interested in Brick and probably is also making inquiries about her. Minx is not answering this question by saying it is a private matter that only concerns Brick.

CC calls on Sophia telling her that Channing is no more between them. Nobody is giving her the guilt on what happened. She says, no after all the years of pain they have gone through. She wants to go to the place Channing has gone. This is the place where she should be. Ted again shouts between why nobody is helping her.

Eden takes place on the ground next to Sophia and asks her if she knows who she is. She says Eden her daughter. She has killed her brother. Eden manages to get her attention and bringing her back to the reality. She embraces her and tells her how much she is happy that she is again back with them and that she is in need of her. Ted and Kelly also come and confirm their love to her and their need for having her with them.

Gina is listening on the door and on hearing not proper she steps into the room. Eden is still talking to Sophia. Santana comes and sits down and tells her that she knows about this feeling in having done something which can no more be made good. She has given away Brandon her son who is her grandson. They can't forgive them as they never will know about but if she not thinks that they can forgive themselves.

Marcello adds, yes Sophia listen to her. Kelly asks him to leave her in peace. He knew about everything. He came only to hurt them. All what he told to them was a lie. He pretended to her even understanding for Joe. But he was the person who kept him in prison. One word from him could have set him free. Marcello asks her what he should have said and to whom? Nobody of them knew that Sophia was alive. He had no idea who Joe Perkins have been or what he was meaning to her. He did not know anything about any person of her family except their father maybe. Eden shouts against him that he maybe has kept her in his power, maybe he has hypnotised her.

Marcello asks if there is nobody understanding that he loves Sophia and was always loving her. That she is his stepmother and she was longer with him than she was with them and even longer as his own mother was with him. She was always taking care of him. She missed her children but the love she could no more give to them she has given to him. And when she came to SB to find Channing's murderer he wanted to hinder this. They should believe him that he would have done everything to keep her away from this truth. He would have put the guilt on himself and he would have gone for her into the prison.

Lionel says that he has never seen the notice before. Only when it was found by then in Warren's smoking. Cruz says that's because Philip has passed it on accidentally to Channing. Sophia was giving the notice to a maid from the kitchen and she has passed it on to Philip. If the maid has made a mistake or Philip nobody is remembering this anymore.

Cruz asks Marcello if he has heard something what was going on in this room on that day. Marcello says that he has heard everything. Mason asks him if he also has heard him and Channing. He says, yes. Lindsay asks the same question and Marcello confirms also to him. Cruz asks him if he has heard them from the tunnel. Marcello says, no he was looking through the spy hidden in the bookshelf. When he heard the shot he could not see properly so he took up the risk and went into the office. She kneeled beside him while holding the notice. The pistol was lying next to him. It has been clear what has happened but he hoped that it was not true. He was afraid what she would do when she is seeing him. She did not notice that he was next to her she even did not know that he was travelling behind her to SB. She looked at him but did not say anything. She was not showing any surprise in seeing him. She told him that she has killed Lionel. She did not want to do this. She only wanted to frighten him. She took away the ring from his finger. He told her to leave these things there but she told him that he no more is in need of it. She once has given it to Lionel when she loved him but now she no more is loving him. Marcello narrates that one thing was clear to him either he remained silent or he has to try to stop her from drifting away more and more from the reality and bring her back. He told her that this man is not Lionel. She says that she knows. He asked who he is. She said she does not know. He asked her to look at the man. She started to cry and telling him that it is her son. It got clear to him that the reality has been something she could not face. So he put into her the lie she was in need to survive. He asked her if Lionel Lockridge has killed her son. She says, yes it was Lionel. First he wanted to kill her but then he did not succeed and so he killed her son.

Marcello goes on telling that he then heard somebody at the door. Warren says that this was he. He quickly brought her into the tunnel and helped her to dress up again properly as Dominic. He was just thinking on what to do next when one could hear the door closing. And then she acted as if she has forgotten everything and as if she wanted to go to the meeting with Lionel. She freed herself of his hold and run back into the office. And there she was. She looked at Channing as if she was seeing him for the first time in this way. As if the shock has cleared in her mind all what has happened. She kneeled before him no more aware what was going on around her. When she got up to run out of the room to fetch somebody for help he followed her. For a short moment he thought that she would recognize him in the mirror behind her and remember again everything but then somebody came from the other side of the corridor. It was Joe he now knows. He remained in a safe distance and waited for his chance and then he went in and gave something to sleep for her and brought her then to Anchorage. He knew there two wonderful doctors who were leading a sanatorium. It was far away enough to prevent her from getting information about on what happened in SB and as it was within the country there was also no problem to go there.

After Marcello ended his story Sophia recognizes the real reason of Marcello for wanting to take her back to Italy and everything what he has taken upon him was only to help her. Eden says to Marcello that the only thing he seemed to have in mind was to hurt her father and to protect her mother.

Cruz says that there is something else. It was Marcello who typed the line on Peter's typewriter. Somehow he found out that he has taken up the case again and so he was stealing the revolver and searched through his files. It was also he who had blown up the tunnel. They found the proof for this in his apartment. The laboratory could proof the chemicals he was using. Hank Judson got killed by this explosion. A further charge he has to expect. One thing is clear he was doing what he wanted to do because nobody and certainly not Sophia could figure it out that she was shooting Channing.

Sophia all of a sudden remembers that the revolver should not have been able to fire. Gina hisses to CC that now she is showing her true face. Eden asks her no more to think about. Sophia starts to insist that the revolver should have been empty. If they really think that she wanted to kill Lionel? She has made sure that the weapon was not loaded. She can remember everything exactly. She went one evening before into the house. She did not dare to go further than the office room. She was remaining longer than it was good but after all the ten years in not being there so many memories were coming up. She looked into the drawer and found a list of the guests who were expected and in another drawer the weapon. This gave her an idea. The only thing she was afraid of was to see Lionel again. His name was also on the list of guests and therefore she knew that he will be there the next day. She got the idea to frighten him somehow. She wanted to tell him that she has come back to take revenge and that she would kill him if he ever would come close to her. He should beg for mercy and swear that he would let her in peace for ever. She has emptied the magazine. They should believe her she really did not want to hurt him. The weapon was unloaded and she put it again into the desk. While Sophia goes on to insist that the weapon has been unloaded CC all of a sudden is making a remark like "Oh, no!".

Amy is just on telling Minx that she should not make too quickly any conclusions about her and Brick when the phone rings. It is Dr. Renfro. He asks if Brick is there. Amy says no. Renfro goes on telling her that he had an appointment with Brick at the airport at one hall but he did not come. After closing the phone Renfro tells Jack Lee that one is sure Brick is not at home.

Amy tells Minx that she does not trust Dr. Renfro. She phones to the police asking how long a person has to be missed till one starts searching for the person. Her friend is missing for a few hours and she worries about that something happened to him. She says that up to then it could be already too late. Minx is taking the receiver and telling them that Mrs. T. Lockridge is on the phone. T like tiger and when she says that somebody is missing then there is somebody missing. She wants to see action now.

Brick is put into a cell of the prison where he feels happy and safe making quickly friendship with the other inmates.

Gina says that this is terrible but there must be justice. CC goes to Sophia. Sophia tells him how terrible she feels that she has killed their son. It was their first son and he was so beautiful and she is guilty that he is dead. CC says no she has told the truth the weapon was not loaded. On this evening he could not sleep. He heard some noise in the office. He went down and saw that everything was still there. He then took the pistol. Mason shouts "Oh my Lord" on knowing what CC is going to say. Gina begs CC not to proceed in his story. CC continues telling that the pistol has not been loaded. He therefore filled it again. CC starts crying in recognising that he also was making himself guilty in loading the pistol. He loved Channing so much. It was their first son if she can remember how happy they have been together at that time. It is as if it only was yesterday. CC and Sophia embrace each other.

Mason says that was it and turning to Cruz he said he has done good work. He has found out the truth without hurting anybody. He can be proud on this. No question remained without an answer. Cruz say he would have still some questions for example why all this has to happen and what they are going to do.

Sophia tells CC that in former times she thought there happened thing which she never would be able to bear and now this. CC tells her that when she went away he was thinking that was the end and now when he imagines that he is also guilty in Channing's death.

Mason goes over to CC and asks him for pardon. CC embraces him. Lindsay tells Warren that he can't believe what he is seeing. Mason and CC. That must be real love. Warren says he does not hope this specially because of Maggie.

Minx and Amy get ready to search for Brick. Amy wonders where they should start to search. Minx says in the hall at the airport. The phone rings. It is Brick who is telling in short to Amy in a cheerful mood what happened to him with the two men and where he is now. He asks her if they can get him out on bail. Amy tells him that they will come. Minx tells her that she will overtake the bail. Amy says she only wants to phone first to a lawyer in order to find out about their rights. She does not want that Brick is losing his driving license. Minx tells her that she should not worry about she is having very good lawyers. Amy says she knows the very best one as she is working for him it is Stanfield Lee.

Marcello asks Cruz from where he got to know it. Which mistake he was making that he could find it out. Cruz tells that at the fire he told something to him. He was thinking that he is talking to Sophia asking her to destroy the ring and the note. After this everything made sense to him. Eden congratulates him for solving his case with a dry voice.

Augusta calls for Sophia telling her that she will not come out without punishment not as long as she is existing. She is upset that all are taking care for her as if she has been the person who got killed. Lionel and Warren try to calm her down but Augusta is shouting out her whole hate and charging her for destroying her family. Augusta calls then for Marcello and charges him in being guilty that she got blind and that he was covering up Sophia and getting whole families into troubles. She rushes against Marcello and wants to hit him but Lionel and Warren manage to pull her away. Augusta addresses then Cruz and wants to know what kind of punishment they are getting.

Cruz tells her that Marcello will be charged on attempted murder on CC and with certainty for the murder on Hank Judson. He thinks he only wanted to destroy the evidences which did not exist. But he knew that there have been people in the tunnel when the bomb exploded if it was not like this? Gina says that they could have been dead, Santana, Ted and she. Cruz tells Gina she need not to worry they are already talking about a lifelong imprisonment. Kelly tells Marcello that he knew who had shot Channing. Santana adds that this is making him for a kind of accomplice. If it is not like this. Lindsay says of course. Mason says but an accomplice from whom and for what reason. He thinks one should not now decide if Marcello has been an accomplice or not. They are having other problems to solve. Eden says that Mason is right. There is the question what is going to happen with her mother.

Minx and Amy are standing before the prison door. Brick is still very drunken. He asks Minx if she knows that he has made a marriage proposal to Amy. He has to come to the hearing of course but because of the situation with the loss of Amy's baby .... Amy interrupts Jack Lee and says that it was not because of the baby but because of the two men... Brick interrupts her and says that is ok Mr. Lee is not interested in this. Minx thanks Mr. Lee and wonders that he is not remembering her from a party in New York where she has been with Augusta. Lee apologises for forgetting this.

Augusta wants to know about the difference of Sophia's murder and Marcello's one. Eden says that Sophia's one has been an accident. She did not know it. Kelly says that she has even unloaded the weapon. CC says he can testify this if it is necessary. Gina says but Channing is dead a life is lost one has to do something. Eden says that she only wanted to frighten Lionel. Sophia wonders why she did not check the weapon before she fired. Ted tells her that she has taken out the munitions. Eden adds that such things one is hearing every day. People clean their weapon and they shoot themselves but one is not setting them under arrest. Mason explains that it is not just as she says and he is sure Cruz is of his opinion. CC wants to know why. Mason says that Sophia was not cleaning the weapon. The weapon might not be loaded but she was using it for an intimidation and to threaten somebody and this is already enough for getting charged at the court. Eden asks if this is true and Lindsay says yes. Eden says but for what will she be charged and who will charge her. Mason explains that this will do the district attorney on hand of police reports, proofs and witnesses. Eden asks what will happen if nothing of this kind is there. Kelly says yes, they need not to tell it and keep it for themselves. Eden says yes, no proofs, no reports, no accusation. Mason asks her if she wants Cruz not to send in his report. Cruz says that she is trying this of course. He would also do it if he would be in her situation. Ted shouts to Cruz that he cannot take their mother away after she only has come back. Mason tells Ted that he is not fair to Cruz. He is only having two possibilities. He can send in his report this is his duty by being under an oath or he is losing his job or worse he is charged on a consequential crime in getting something like an accomplice like Marcello. CC wants to know what happens if he is sending in his police report? Mason replies that by then all depends only on the prosecutor. Eden wants to know what kind of accusation the prosecutor might come up in the worst case. Mason thinks that would be homicide. Eden, Ted, Kelly shout "Oh no!!!" Eden says that this is no fair. It has been an accident she can't remember what she has done. She was not clear in her mind. Mason says that he knows this but such an evidence must come from Marcello and how much value will the court give to the evidence of a person who is charged on attempted murder and murder. Ted says then everything is clear, Cruz has not to send in his report.

Cruz says that this is not as easy as they think. Augusta says she knows why because he does not know if all who are here now will keep their mouth. Mason says that Augusta is right, everybody who is here can go to the prosecutor for what ever reason the person is doing so. Eden says who except Augusta will do such a thing? Augusta is only jealous one can accuse the same to her. Mason says that Eden easily exaggerates but she is right. Cruz must have known this all before. And turning to Cruz he asks him what he is going now to do.

Ted and Kelly are clearing up some boxes from the Oriental Express. Ted finds a camera. Kelly recognizes it as the one from Nick and takes it. She thinks she better is bringing it to him.

Eden knocks at the door of Sophia. Sophia is very surprised to see her and invites her into her apartment. She tells Eden that she anyway can't sleep. Truthfully spoken she is afraid to fall asleep as the horrible dream she was having over the years has become reality. She is also afraid on how Cruz will decide.

Cruz sits with Nick in the bar. He tells him that he is having to make a difficult decision. He is going to marry and the irony of the situation is that he has to decide if he is arresting her mother or not. What he would suggest to him? Nick tells him that he never was having any problems in making decision and he will find the right one by himself.

Sophia is preparing something to drink for Eden as they talk about the time when she was still with them getting into a more joyful mood.

Warren comes into the bar totally drunken and asks Cruz and Nick if he can take place on their table. He asks Cruz if they are celebrating something at least he is the hero of the day in having solved the murder case of this decade. He has shown today very much to the people how they really are. He has learnt a lot by this. Cruz gets quickly up and tells Warren that he is bringing him a coffee first before he is going on talking.

Nick asks Warren if it really has been so terrible this evening. Warren says it was a big shock for him. Nick tells him that one thing he knows that after waking up tomorrow he will feel not very well. He might better stop drinking. Warren sees Maggie just coming in and turning around again. He gets up and asks her to wait. Maggie tells him that she wanted to talk to him. Warren tells her that he has drunken too much and if she could not be so kind and drive him home.

Gina talks and talks to CC while he stares at her without saying one word. Gina tells him he should say something if it is because she has phoned to the news papers. She thought it would be the best for them at least Sophia has killed his son. CC says that for this he is in the same way guilty as Sophia and lucky enough he has come at the right time. She also has nearly killed her own son with the pills. The doctor has told that he nearly escaped a permanent brain damage. Gina tells him that they can go on fighting tomorrow and up to then she better goes and sleeps in another room. CC tells her that she nowhere will go. He will sit down now and wait and see if she is addicted to the drug. Gina tells him that she does not let her spy out and wants to escape but CC already has locked the door.

Maggie brings Warren to his surprise into her apartment. She helps him to take off his jacket and gives him a little push by which he landed on her coach and at once falls asleep. She fetches a blanket and spreads it over him. Then she whispers to him if he only would know how much she loves him and how sexy she finds him and how much she is longing for him but that it is better that he does not know all this.

Cruz asks the officer at Sophia's door to make a break for a while as he will overtake his job. He then knocks at the door. Sophia sleeps on the sofa and Eden opens. She slips out and embraces Cruz. Cruz tells her how much he was missing her and she tells him how hard it was for her. Then she again asks him what he is going to do with her mother and on not getting a reply she turns around and silently goes again into the apartment.

Sophia is getting a terrible nightmare. Eden wakes her up telling that everything is alright and it is only a dream. Sophia tells her that she gets all of a sudden a strong longing to see the grave of Channing. Eden tells her that she will go with her. Sophia rejects her offer by reminding her to think on her marriage today but Eden insist on leaving her not alone.

Gina sits in their bed and starts to get more and more nervous till she begs CC to give the pills to her. CC is now certain that she is addicted. He is upset. His wife is drug addicted. If she does not know that this can damage their baby. Gina on not getting the pills starts to shout against him.

Kelly phones to Nick. Nick is in deep sleep and crawls to the phone. He is not recognising Kelly's voice and asks her who she is. On hearing that it is Kelly he quickly awakes. She tells him that she wants to come and bring him something. He should tell her when it will be ok to come. He quickly tells her that he is ready in a quarter of an hour.

Gina goes on attacking CC. She tells him that he only wants to control over all of his children and now he wants to control her but she is going away taking along their baby and Brandon. CC tells her that she can go where she likes but Brandon will remain with them. She then can start again to work as a secretary and dress herself provocative like she has done it in Stockman's case. She asks him how he could really think such a thing from her. CC tells her that he knows it and she need not to make her better than she is. He knows all about her and Hank. She tells him that she thought that he has forgiven her.

Ted comes in and asks for what they are fighting so heavy. CC asks him to go but Gina asks him to stay and see how his father is treating her. Ted asks her what the matter is and Gina tells him in tears that CC is not giving the pills to her. CC at once asks Ted if he knew about. Gina says no, Ted does not know anything about but Ted says yes. Gina shouts to CC that he is more terrible than Hank who has been her dealer. CC at once understands what has happened in the tunnel. Gina tells CC that she has taken the pills from Hank after he was dead without the knowledge of Ted. She has promised to him that she will do it without. Ted confirms this.

Sophia puts some flowers at the tomb starting in tears to talk to Channing while Eden silently stands at her side. In the background one can see Cruz who followed them. When Sophia gets up Cruz walks silently over to the tomb standing himself behind the tomb. Eden asks him how he has decided.

Nick is full in cleaning and dressing action while hiding most of his things when Kelly is knocking at the appointed time on his door. Nick opens and Kelly enters surprised his flat. She at once notices his problem in keeping his room clean and in order and that he is hiding an unwashed shirt behind his back. He confesses to her that every two or three month he is cleaning up everything nicely but after two days the same dilemma starts again. Kelly sees a picture of a soldier and asks Nick about. Nick puts the picture away telling her that she certainly is not interested in this story. Kelly tells him that she would like to hear it. Nick tells her that the truth is that he is afraid to talk about but then he starts the story of his best friend who has saved his life. He starts with his funny appearance and his habit to listen over and over to the same song called "Bad moon rising" and ends with his terrible death where he even lost his face. They both feel a little bit embarrassed after the story and Kelly puts her hands on Nick's shoulder telling him that he certainly has been a good fellow. Nick tells her that she is the first person to whom he has told the story.

CC tells Gina if she only could see herself how she looks now in her greed to get the pills. He wants to know from her what this pills are giving to her. She tells that it lets her forget that she is losing him to his first wife, it also lets her forget that she is guilty on Hank's death and that she has stole things to finance the pills. CC wants to know how this addiction started. She tells him in the hospital after the accident because of her pain. CC tells her that can't be a reason to damage their baby if she never was thinking about. And if she is not noticing that because of her addiction she is able to steal and to do all kind of things. Gina tells him that she knows it, she is addicted and she needs help. On hearing this CC changes his hard voice at once and tells her softly that this is all what he wanted to hear from her and therefore he had to be so hard to her. He will help her. Ted tells her that nobody wants to harm her and they certainly will give her the help she is in need of.

Kelly gives to Nick back his camera and tells him that there is still a film in it which can be developed. Nick tells her that he does not want to develop these pictures. The truth is he is having a terrible fear of fire. She tells him that she noticed this already in the Oriental Express. He tells her that the people were at that time all afraid but he was mentally ill. He has experienced too much in Vietnam and seen so much houses and people burning. Kelly tells him that the best way to overcome such fears is to face it. Nick tells her that she has persuaded him. He will develop the pictures for her. Kelly tells him that meanwhile she will help him to take care of his washings.

Warren wakes up surprised to find himself at Maggie's apartment. Maggie in a sexy morning dress tells him that she could not leave him alone in his condition. If he likes she can give some towels to him so that he can take a shower. Warren irritated tells her that he can take care for himself. Maggie steps back somehow embarrassed and Warren says sorry he is only angry about himself. Maggie asks him why he has drunken so much something must burden him and maybe she can help. Warren tells her that he wanted to kill Channing and only because a person has done it already was saving him from doing it. He is shocked to recognise that he is able to kill a person. Maggie tells him that she does not think that he really would have done it. Warren thinks that she might know him not so good as she thought. And if they don't have a terrible justice which is arresting a person who is killing without an intention to do so while letting run free a potential killer. Maggie tells him that she is bringing an orange juice for them and Warren asks her if she could not make also some eggs for him.

Gina lies in the bed. The doctor examines her. CC asks the doctor if he does not know a good sanatorium for his wife. On hearing that CC wants to put her into a hospital Gina starts to beg them not to do this to her. She does not want to be away from Brandon. CC tells her that he is not seeing any other chance then in doing so. They can't give her here the support she is in need of and she needs to start her rehabilitation at once before their baby is getting any damage. The doctor tells her that the sanatoriums are nowadays more like hotels she will feel comfortable and is having nothing to fear. Ted adds that they only want to help her.

Sophia tells Cruz that she did not want to kill Lionel even not in the time she was full of hate against him six years ago. She only wanted to frighten him he should believe her. Cruz tells her that he believes her. Sophia tells him that now she finally has found back to her family and even CC is starting to accept her she begs him not to take her away from the family and give her a chance. Cruz tells her that this is not so easy for him he is in a difficult situation. Mercy and friendship is not the place here now. Warren and Maggie are in the State Street Bar. They work on the Ben Gillis case. Maggie wants to contact Mason but Warren tells her that Mason is phoning the whole day already.

Mason is trying to get into contact with Gina but is not allowed to see or talk to her on order of CC. He passes Warren who tries to asks him something but he tells him that he is too busy with some family matter while storming out of the bar.

Cruz is in deep sleep state. In one hand he is holding a tin. Eden takes it out of his hand but is not getting his notice.

Rosa and Brandon are cutting some flowers together for his mother. Brandon asks CC if he also can see his mother. CC tells him that children are unfortunately not allowed there. Rosa tells CC that she is not having a good feeling in letting Sophia stay in the mansion. CC says that he fears they can't change this. There is no other possibility. Rosa attends to the phone while CC is taking Brandon to the guest house for cutting flowers.

Eden throws the keys against Cruz to wake him up. Cruz asks why she has come. He thought that she is sending Ted to get her things. Eden says that Ted does not know what belongs to her. Cruz gets upset on seeing her taking two discs which belong to him. The disc fall down and he starts kissing her.

CC gives Brandon the scissors to cut the flowers. Sophia comes out of her apartment. CC asks her how she feels. If she has slept well. She says, no she can't sleep as she always has to think on the lawsuit.

Marcia another inmate of the Sanatorium is making friendship with Gina. Gina tells her the problem with all her fears about her son Brandon and that a certain person wants to take him away from her.

Eden even not having rejected the kiss asks Cruz if he thinks that she jumps after all what has happened into the bed with him. Eden finds that she is happy that she has found out in time that they are not fitting together. All is turning out into a heavy fight. Cruz also thinks that they are not fitting together. She runs away and he shouts behind her that she should never come back again.

Julia comes into the State Street Bar and Warren thinks they should ask her again. Maggie finds they better should go on by themselves. They find out that Cruz might know something about the other worker who was with Ben on the oil rig. They want to ask him.

Cruz is on the phone talking with his boss. He tells him that he has told the public prosecutor that he is fed up to give his head for him and then he has thrown to him his badge. His boss says, yes he knows it is lying on his table and waiting to be fetched again by a very good police officer. He should not let him drive out by a public prosecutor. After some more requests Cruz agrees to come the other day to fetch his badge and go on with his job.

Next is Maggie on Cruz's phone asking him if he could come to the State Street Bar and help them in their search. Cruz gladly agrees to get away from his boat.

Rosa does not like to see Santana who comes to the mansion to see Brandon. She does not find it a good idea that she is coming when she got told not to come.

Sophia is putting Brandon's finger in a bandage. She tells him that he can get some cookies from the kitchen. Sophia asks CC if he really wants to run his dynasty through Brandon, Gina's son. Why he does not pass it on to his own children. CC tells her that she hopefully did not think on Mason. Sophia tells him that she would love to see all in harmony as it has been in former times. CC assures to her that she also is a part of the Capwell dynasty and will forever belong to it.

Mason comes and Sophia goes quickly out. Mason wants to get CC's agreement that he can see Gina. He is acting as Brandon's trustee as he knows and he needs to see that his mother is well. CC signs in a very upset and unwilling mood the paper Mason is in need for.

Eden comes with a hanging head and talks with CC. CC finds she has decided in the right way and she will find another man. Julia gets into the car of Mason who is asking her what she wants. She tells him that she is working with him on the Gillis matter as a second lawyer, Warren has given to her this job. She is his aunt and by the way her name is Julia Wainwright. She tells him that she thought that she could be useful to him now since Jack Lee has overtaken the case. Jack and she are knowing each other since a long time and she thought she could be a kind of a spy for him. Mason wonders why she wants to do this and Julia tells him because of revenge. Back to the mansion Cruz tells Sophia that he hopes that his problems with Eden is not making all worse for her. He says he is very sorry in having arrested her. Eden is moving into her new office. She is welcoming her secretary Betty friendly. The phone rings and Betty is taking. It is Warren asking for Mason's friend Max. Eden tells Betty that she should ask what he wants. He needs some information about people who have been three years ago on an oil rig.

Santana and Cruz are sitting in the State Street Bar. Cruz asks her better not to visit the mansion as long as Gina is not there.

Mason informs Warren and Maggie that hey should keep Julia as the secret for the time being he will tell them another time the reason for. Warren and Maggie go while Mason is taking his drink. On seeing Cruz with Santana he asks him if he loves to play with the fire.

Morning in the Lockridge mansion. Laken is desperately searching for a nice dress for the school party. Ted is surprising her by sitting on the window frame. He is giving to her a wonderful flower. Laken happy embraces him and Ted runs away again as he has to go for an interview for a job.

Lionel is getting free from jail by Julia. He has a new plan for Augusta and takes Julia along to the Lockridge mansion without accepting her objection. She should help him to find Frank.

Kelly phones to Nick. She informs him with much enthusiasm that Eden is searching for a good photograph for making pictures of all the rooms in the hotel and she has suggested him. Nick tells her that she should stop her enthusiasm as he is just on leaving the city. Kelly tells him to leave all the things where they are she is just on the way to him.

Gina is taking place at Marcia's table. She is asking for another pill and getting it from her. Marcia tells her that she has can't go on to pay for the pills she is giving to her. She suggests to Gina to ask Mason for some money when he comes.

Christy is getting surprised by Ted at the elevator she is waiting. He tells her that he is going to try to get a job for the summer. Christy also wants to try her luck.

Kelly tells him that she can understand this as it is with her the same with her remembrance on Joe but they are leaving now and they have to learn to cope with this.

Mason is meeting Gina who is sleeping and looking very relaxed. She asks Mason for some money to buy in a shop nearby some things. Mason gives her twenty dollars and she finds this fine. Marcia smiles to her from the other table.

She then gives a comment on his eyes in the picture she has taken from him seeing a man who is running away from himself. Kelly gives him a picture from Joe and she asks him what he can see in this eyes. Nick tells her that this man is full of love and a man with a strong character. He might understand himself very well with this man. She says sorry she does not know why she has shown this picture to him. He says that he knows why and this is one reason why he wants to leave the city. Kelly tells him that she thinks they are in need of each other and he should stay.

Christy phones at home talking to her mother getting to know that she is in need of urgent money. She tells her mother that she is having got a good job in a hotel. Augusta comes and wants to talk to her. While Augusta tries to find out something about Christy, Christy is taking out the two candles of their stand and puts the costly stands into her bag.

Jack invites Julia for the night and turns to CC and Eden. Eden makes a remark to Lee on his open tie asking him if it is really so hot.

Laken is talking with Christy about her last meeting with Ted. She does not want to see him again for a while. Warren runs after Maggie and stops her near the elevator. She tells him that she wanted him but she knows that it is wrong. Warren starts kissing her very passionately. Kelly is getting tired and takes a nap with Nick's jacket as her pillow while Nick goes on spying.

Brick wants to take Amy along with him but she tells him that she is having her own car. Brick goes and Amy excuses herself for Brick's behaviour. Lee tells her that he does not mind it he is used for getting attacked.

Gina is feeling not very well and very nervous. She wants to get a pill from Marica but she tells her that she is having none. Gina is nearly on having a break down and tries her best to keep herself in check being afraid to get never out of this hospital.

Mason sits with Julia at the bar. Julia finds that they are somehow similar in their nature asking him if he has noticed this already. Mason tells her that for a woman like her he was searching his whole life. Such a mixture of cynicism, sarcasm's and brilliance. Julia thanks him for his compliment and goes.

Christy asks Ted to approach Laken. Ted is taking place at Laken's table but his boss is at once on his side asking him to go on in his work and not sit around. Christy tries to help him out but gets told to put on her uniform again.

Mason sees that Gina is in a terrible condition. He tells her that he thought she is already better according to CC. She asks him not to tell to anybody but is more than excited on the idea on never getting out again. She is brought away by some helpers.

Warren knocks at the door of Maggie. Maggie tells him that she does not let him in and she does not want to see him again. Warren breaks through the wire mash screening. They stand opposite and look at each other. Warren takes her in his arms and they start embracing and kissing each other passionately.

Nick makes a shout as something interesting is going on in Lee's office. Kelly also wants to see. She can't believe it. Jack Lee just on getting undressed by Julia. Nick makes some pictures.

Augusta enjoys the morning and the fact that she can see can see again. She looks around happy and looks at everything. On seeing Lionel's picture she turns it around. She notices also that Lionel is passing by.

Dr. Renfro gets a phone from Lee with instructions concerning Nick and Kelly who are getting too curious.

Kelly visits Nick in the morning in a good mood. Nick has already developed the pictures and Kelly finds them great. On his phone is placed a bug and Lee's men record and listen to their talk. Kelly wants to go at once to Cruz but Nick first wants to make a second visit in Lee's office and look through the files. Kelly insists on going with him. The men inform Lee who is preparing a trap.

Maggie is enjoying the cool morning. Warren addresses her happy thanking her for the wonderful night together by which he knows now that she loves him. Maggie fights her last fight against Warren in her feeling of guilt for Ben. Warren puts on his shirt frustrated and wants to leave her when she takes him into her arms and asks him not to go and how much she is in need of him.

Lionel goes on with his preparation for his wedding anniversary giving some instruction to some designer. Frank comes and Lionel tells him more about his greater plans.

Augusta is with the doctor who tells her that she is really healed. Augusta asks the doctor not to tell anybody about she wants to keep it as a secret for a while.

Lee is in the room of the opposite building and watches now from this side his own office. He phones to Amy sending her out to get something by which he wants to give Kelly and Nick the chance to enter his office and they really at once take their chance. They cannot find the key and Nick breaks the drawer. When Amy is back at her office in the other room Lee phones again asking her to see in his office if he has forgotten his suitcase. Amy goes in but Nick and Kelly manage to hide themselves quickly behind the desk. Amy turns already around to go out when Lee quickly phones to his office phone to draw her attention to Nick and Kelly. Amy really sees them and waits for an explanation. Nick is telling her a good excuse but Kelly finds she can tell Amy the whole truth. Amy tells Kelly that they are totally wrong. Lee is not making illegal businesses. He is a wonderful man and helped her very much. Nick quickly says sorry and pushes Kelly out of the room. Kelly is upset as she thinks that now Amy is telling everything to Lee. Nick tells her that she should not worry they are giving all now into the hands of Cruz.

Ben is brought back. Warren goes out of the house and Maggie sends also the nurse out to be alone with Ben.

Julia is on body building when Augusta comes in and shouts astonished who she is. Julia recognizes at once that Augusta is able to see again and tells her that she is Julia. Augusta looks at her positive surprised that she has developed herself so much to a beautiful woman. She also tells her that she does not want to know anybody that she can see again. She asks Julia if Lionel has been here all the time. Julia agrees. Augusta wants to know what he was doing with Frank together. Julia tells her that Lionel were probably training with him a little bit. Augusta tells him that Lionel could better learn from Frank putting some wonderful attributes on Frank the astronaut. Julia carefully hints that Frank is not a real astronaut. Augusta asks her what he is then. She should not tell that he is distributing the mail. Julia says, no and the more carefully she adds that he is distributing the milk. Augusta is very upset. Julia tells the real reason why Lionel has done this but Augusta is thinking on revenge and wants Julia to help her.

Maggie tells all about her love to Warren and what happened in the night to Ben. She says sorry to him but she is having only one life and she feels so alone hoping that he can hear her and understand.

Lee wants to see Julia. He invites her for lunch. Julia tells him that she is having today a beauty day. Lee is insisting on seeing her and tells her that he will visit her and Augusta.

Amy tells Lee that Nick and Kelly have been in his office and that they think he is doing some illegal business. Lee puts her attention to the drawer which is opened by force. He tells Amy that it is time for the police she should go on with her work as they have acted illegal by breaking into his office. He will take care about. He phones to the men and gives order for plan B.

Kelly is on the phone with Eden. Eden insists on meeting her at lunch. Kelly says finally yes. Nick wants to know if something is not alright. Kelly tells him yes. Eden wants to see her at lunch, her shirt is torn into pieces and she does no more know where to start. Nick tells her she need not to worry while she is eating with Eden he will watch over her that nothing happens to her. Kelly asks if he could find something valuable in the file. Nick says, yes it might help. It is a list of all flights he has made. Kelly wonders about the long list. Nick tells her that many of these flights were all on the same route. He is quite sure that he is doing some illegal business. Kelly wants to know what kind of business he thinks. Nick tells her that he is not interested in it any longer as this is a case now for the police. He phones and one of Lee's man is taking it telling him that Cruz is out of the office but he will inform him to call back.

Jack rings the bell and Julia opens He takes a flower and gives it to Julia while he hands over the flowers to Augusta. Augusta is on sitting down next to Julia at the sofa when Jack is guiding her to the easy chair taking place next to Julia by himself. While making compliments to Augusta he puts his hand on Julia's knee. Julia gets quickly up to serve some coffee.

Maggie has arranged everything for Ben to be permanent in the hospital. Maggie tells him that she will come to see him in the hospital as often as she can do and she still loves him.

Lee says some compliments to Augusta and leaves. Julia comes and Augusta puts a shower of heavy accusations on her concerning Jack and his behaviour. That she has seen Jack behind her back and misused her condition to take away her admirer and making feeling her like a fool when he touches her knee while talking to her. Julia tells her that she knew Jack long before she has seen him for the first time and on finding out that she was meeting Jack she was closing her relationship with him. Now he wanted to start again with her but she let him exclusively for her in case she still wants him after what she has seen. And if she has something more to say she will go and tell Lionel and all the others that she can see again. The door bell rings and Augusta goes to open the door. It is Frank and Lionel. Augusta invites Frank and closes the door before Lionel's nose.

Nick tells Kelly that she has been a great help for him. Kelly replies that he has also a great help for her. Nick tells her that in this case they are quits and have no responsibility, no promises anymore to each other yet he would like to see her again. Since he knows her all the colours are looking more bright and he no more wants to run away from himself. The phone rings. It is one of the men telling that Cruz is having a mission and wants to meet him in the garage at the parking place A4 of the Capwell hotel. Nick tells Kelly that he is meeting Cruz in one hour. Kelly asks him if he said he and adds that they will see Cruz together.

Jack is satisfied with his men and phones to Renfro to take up their plan meeting them in the garage.

Warren is moving to Maggie while Maggie is packing away all the things of Ben. It is not easy for her and Warren takes out the picture of Ben again of the box and puts it on the chimney telling her that they will not forget Ben.

Augusta sits with Frank and finds that she has to thank him for lifting up her self-confidence so much. She wants to do now something for him. She wants to arrange a party for him to introduce the great astronaut to her friends. Frank tells her that he finds this not such a good idea. Lionel meanwhile at her other side shows on a paper the answers to Frank. Augusta presses Frank with all her force his face going on giving him some compliments while making movements with her other arm to hit Lionel who gives way to her arm wondering about her behaviour. Frank goes confused and alarmed. Lionel is standing in the room while Augusta starts to undress herself before his eyes telling Julia that she is going to swim.

Nick and Kelly wonder why Cruz has not come. Kelly is nervous. Nick finds the meeting place all of a sudden very strange and wants to go. A car is coming and one of the men gets out introducing himself as an officer asking Nick to follow him to the car. Cruz does not want to be seen. Kelly takes Nick arm and asks him to go. The man opens the back door of the car and when Nick turns around asking what this should mean he is looking into a pistol. He asks Kelly to do what he said and both get in. At the front seat Dr. Renfro is sitting next to the man with the pistol who starts driving them. Between them is a thick glass. Kelly knocks against the glass. Renfro signs to Nick to press the button for the loudspeaker with them while he is telling them good night into his mic and pressing a button. White smoke is coming out of some holes and putting Kelly and Nick into deep sleep.

Nick is looking at the alarm clock. It is ten o'clock. He hears a noise and is making a terrible shout of pain on thinking that Kelly is now killed. The men are coming in and Dr. Renfro informs him that he has not to worry about Kelly she did not feel much pain and died in peace. Nick tells him that he will kill him for this. Renfro corrects him that he will be the next to be killed and not he. The three men go out again.

Eden has phoned repeatedly to Nick but he never takes the phone. Cruz enters the mansion. He can't think that she got kidnapped as there was up to now no call asking for a ransom. CC wants to know what he thinks about his friend Nick. He did not like him from the very beginning. Cruz tells that he has been at his apartment but he did not open. Kelly's car is behind the house where he is living but one should not make too quick conclusions on any persons.

The pain of Kelly's loss gives Nick some kind of extra power. He cuts his ties with a broken glass. Shark comes in and Nick knocks him down. But the other two men come quickly for his help and keep Nick in check with their pistols. Nick sits down and they start to tie him up again.

Santana comes and informs CC that she is replacing Rosa who is not well in taking care for Brandon. CC lets her in. All gather around the television to see the report which shows Kelly's picture asking the inhabitants to give information.

Amy on seeing Kelly's picture in the little TV she is having in her office notes down quickly the given phone number. Lee is coming and asking her to whom she is phoning. She tells him that she only is phoning to a friend and puts down the receiver. Lee tells her that he is having now some urgent phones and in case somebody is phoning then she should note down the number so he will phone back. Lee goes into his office and Amy quickly dials the number.

Ted visits Laken though her window. Christy is sitting there and tells him that she can understand his worries she is also having a sister. Laken comes and embraces Ted by which he feels better.

Nick makes a movement upwards with his head against Renfro and in a quick row by giving some blows to the others in addition he breaks with the force of his whole body throw the door going outside. They shoot behind him but Nick can escape. Renfro asks the two men to follow him and bring him back alive but shoot him if necessary.

Amy tells Cruz and Eden that she has seen Kelly at twelve o'clock on the very day she got missed. She tells the story on how she found Nick and Kelly under the desk in Mr. Lee's office in search for some files. They told her that Lee is not the man one is thinking and they suspected him to be involved in some illegal businesses. She has told everything to Lee and he told her that he will undertake all the needful. On the word needful Cruz gets suspicious and he wants to talk to Lee.

Laken makes Ted happy by telling him that she is going to help him in his search for Kelly.

Renfro phones to Lee informing him that their action in making Nick weak had the opposite effect and he could flee. Lee is very upset and tells him that they need Nick alive. Renfro tells him that the men are already behind him.

Cruz and Eden are introduced to Lee by Amy. Lee shivering for a twinkling of an eye on Cruz's direct question on what he meant by doing all the needful by himself recovers at once and tells Cruz that he has informed the police but to protect Kelly as he is a friend of her family he did not give her name.

Nick washes his face and puts his swollen hands in cold water standing in a cowshed. He is just on relaxing a bit when the farmer is keeping him all of a sudden from the backside in check with the hay-bob asking him to turn slowly around. He explains his situation and asks for protection. It is an Asian couple and the wife senses that he is talking true asking her husband to let himself hide in the hay. Her husband agrees. Nick asks if he can't phone but the weather has broken all connections. Nick hides himself when the two men appear with their pistols in their hands. They show to the farmers an identification card from the police telling them that this man is very dangerous as he was convicted on murder and fled out of jail. The woman tells them that they have not seen anybody and the man leave. Nick comes out of his hiding place and thanks them. The farmer asks him why he did not tell them that the police is behind him. Nick tells them that they are not from the police. They have killed a woman and want to kill him too. He asks them if they can't bring him to the next sheriff or police station. By this they are getting rid of him and he can inform the police. The farmer says that this is not possible as all is under water and the roads are damaged it would be too dangerous for them. His wife asks him to let him stay. On being alone Nick swears to himself that he will go back and kill them for having killed Kelly.

Lee shows himself surprised on Kelly's disappearance. He did not have the feeling that Kelly was snooping out of herself. This Nick Hartley is a very strange person he would not trust. He phoned to him and told him that he has informed the police and he has shouted at him and accused him to be a capitalist pig and so on. He thought his snooping was having some political motivation. It sounded as if he has gone totally mad and close to a nervous breakdown. Jack thinks that Nick on coming from Vietnam has got some psychological damage and could create some feelings of pity in Kelly for him. Cruz tells him that this does not sound at all like the Nick he knows. Eden tells him that he has not seen him for several years and in this time much could happen. Eden thanks Jack warmly and goes with Cruz.

Amy says sorry to Lee in showing some mistrust towards him but he generously forgives her saying that this might be only the influence of her friend Brick.

CC sits with Brandon on his lap. Santana comes and Brandon runs out into the garden asking Santana to follow her. Santana asks CC why he is not thinking over in having made a mistake by marrying Gina. CC tells her that she is ill but he loves her and when she comes back home again then everything will be like it has been before asking her how she can say such a thing.

Christy meets her aunt in the lobby of the Capwell hotel. She tells her that she was coming in search for her to bring her home. Christy tells her that she is having no interest to go back and her mother anyway is only on drinking alcohol. On seeing Ted and Laken she quickly joins them telling her aunt to go back alone.

Cruz is on phoning to the police station finding out that Lee was telling the truth and he has not given Kelly's name. On standing and talking with Eden, Lee comes and shows again how sorry he feels on what has happened and that he is on the way to see CC as he might be able to help in some way.

Nick is resting in the hay with a thick wooden stick in his hands. The wife of the farmer comes and brings to him some food and tea. He takes place at the table with her. She comes from Vietnam and he tells her that he also has been there but nothing was so terrible than the death of Kelly. He feels responsible for her death. She asks him in which way and Nick replays because he could not do anything to help her. She wants to know more, but Nick tells her that he does not want to bring her in danger by knowing too much. She goes and Nick retires with his food and the tea into the hay. He considers to kill all of them in revenge of Kelly's murder. The two men have seen him just when he went to the hay through the window and come in with their pistols asking him to come out. Nick jumps out and hits both of them then he flees and the men run behind him shooting from time to time but not hitting him as Nick hides himself always carefully behind rocks.

Ted, Laken and Christy are coming to the Capwell mansion. Ted asks Christy if she would mind to wait in the hall for him while he is doing some phones with Laken. Christy makes friendship with Santana telling her how great she is finding the mansion and admiring Santana on having grown up in such a house. The door bell rings and Santana opens. It is Jack Lee who at once talks with CC about Nick's strange character.

Nick having got some distance to the men comes to a deep well. He takes the rope and jumps when the men shoot and hit the end of the rope which breaks and he is falling into the well while one could hear a long cry till he reaches the end.

Lee goes on to sow very clever all kinds of mistrust against Nick into CC's heart who finally is absolutely sure that Nick has done something to Kelly.

Cruz goes with Eden to investigate the apartment of Nick. The lady who opens it for them tells that he has not been here for the last three days. Eden finds it strange that he has so many picture of Kelly lying around. Cruz pulls out from under his bed the box with all the pictures from Vietnam. Eden considers if Jack Lee was right with his theory on Nick concerning Vietnam. Cruz protects all the time Nick by opposing Eden's view and Eden finds that it is not the time to protect old friends. She finds a piece of Kelly's blouse and Cruz hopes that Nick has not done something wrongly by sending it to their laboratory.

The two men are discussing at the well if he is now dead or not as they are not able to see anything. The one insist that he has shoot him while the other suggests that he should go down and see if he is really dead. Shark dislikes this idea and tells him that he of sure has broken his neck after such a fall. It is only a pity that he did not know that Kelly is alive as he would not have tried to run away. They have to go to the silo now. Nick lies on the hard floor of the dry well. He looks badly damaged. Nick opens his eyes and is thankful to know that Kelly is still alive.

Amy is on the phone telling the person at the other end that Mr. Lee is not in and she does not know when he is back again. Brick comes and Amy asks him what happened. He tells her that the man who was working in the morgue the day when he was searching for the baby is no more working there. He simply disappeared and nobody knows where. Amy cries for her baby and Brick tells her that he also is missing it. Amy says if he only would be also for him and not against him. Brick asks her what Lee has done up to now except making big words. Amy tells Brick about Kelly's kidnap and that Nick was searching in Lee's files and she has caught him. Brick all of a sudden tries to enter Lee's office. Amy asks him what he wants and he tells her that he wants to see Lee's files. Amy tells him that this she does not let him do.

Lionel shows Frank the whole scenery which he hopes is missing no detail.

Renfro and his men gag Kelly and make some pictures from her. Then they take again away the gag from her. He then asks both men to bring a letter and some pictures he has prepared to the place where they have been before hiding them in a way one easily can find it. Kelly at once notices that they want to put by this the guilt on Nick. She tells Renfro that nobody who knows Nick will believe this. Renfro tells her that the good thing is that there are not many people who know Nick. The noise of a helicopter can be heard. Renfro says that is now Jack Lee who has come and they can start. Kelly asks him what the machine behind him means. Renfro tells her that she is going to take part of a great experiment. Kelly tells him that she will not do this she rather wants to die.

Augusta opens the door for Frank who comes to fetch her for the great day. Lionel plays the chauffeur. Laken feeling not well with this show runs behind them asking Christy to phone to Ted and tell him that she has to do some urgent family matter.

Cruz is talking to the local police who is not very much ready to start such a search action as long as the weather is not changing as all is under water. Cruz let them prepare a plan with all empty buildings in the area. He asks them for their old jeep which he would like to use.

Nick gets the motorcycle to run and starts to drive.

The men place the pictures and the letter in the room where Nick was tied up.

Kelly asks Lee why they have killed Nick. Lee tells her that it was a tragic accident. Kelly wants to know if he is doing this all only for money. Lee tells her that this would be not enough. They are working on the overtaking of a whole nation. Renfro is shocked to hear Lee talking in this way. Lee gets upset and asks him if he does not believe in his own experiment. Renfro at once tells him that he can tell her what he wants it will work. Kelly asks Lee why he is doing all this. He is having money and fame and he is even the adviser of the president. Lee says that this is his younger cousin Jack Lee and not he. He was always the better one in the family and by overtaking all his positions and friends he is having now his revenge. Kelly wants to know what they are going to do with the machine. Renfro explains that this machine is taking away the memory of a person.

Christy is on phoning to Ted but stops on seeing a nice shirt in a basket standing next to the phone. Ted rings at the door and Christy opens with the shirt and nice earrings. She tells him that Laken asks him to wait as she had to go out for a short time and could not reach him per phone. Ted hesitates but finally gives in and stays. Christy is turning on some music and then invites Ted to go with her swimming.

Eden and Cruz searched the whole empty motel without success. Eden finds his search useless and gives Nick only a chance to escape. Cruz asks her better to help him to search through this room. Eden sits down on the bed and finds the picture of Kelly put in Nick's frame. She searches more and finds the blackmailing letter asking for 5 Mil. $ signed with Nick Hartley.

Nick arrives at the silos and stops his motorcycle hastens to free Kelly.

Frank starts the show with Augusta. First of all he is flying with her in a private plane nicely arranged with all the motor and sound affects. Augusta plays her part as well as Frank while Lionel stands with Laken in the background watching the show.

Cruz and Eden visit the farmer couple. He introduces himself as a policeman from the police department of Santa Barbara and Eden as the sister of the woman they are searching for. Cruz shows to the farmers two pictures one from Nick and one from Kelly. Eden starts several times to tell them that they think that Nick has kidnapped Kelly but Cruz interrupts her. The farmer woman tells them that since weeks they have seen nobody. Cruz wants to use their phone but the farmer tells him that it is out of order. Cruz asks Eden to leave with him. When alone the wife asks her husband if he thinks it was right that they told nothing. He tells her that they looked honest but she thought that the best is not to trust anybody and tell nothing to whoever it is as they might have come to kill Nick.

When Amy is shortly out of her office Brick is taking his chance and takes the bundle of keys out of her drawer. He opens the office of Lee and breaks up the chest with the files. He wonders by himself by all these file for which file he is searching for when he sees a file with the name of Dr. Renfro. He takes it out and starts reading eagerly.

Frank opens the door to their imaginary suite. Augusta asks him to describe everything that she can see it with her inner eyes. Frank is very nervous and is not meeting all the points creating some funny situation. The noise creator also is getting his machine out of control creating the noise of a train passing them close.

Christy asks Ted if he is not happy that she has persuaded him to go to swim with her. Ted says it was nice. Christy invites him to sit next to him and starts to get closer and makes compliments until she kisses him. Ted is not repeating her advances. She tells him that she thought he wants this. Ted tries to make her clear that he is only having Laken in his mind.

Kelly is fighting and does not want to get on the machine. Renfro tells her that she should keep quiet but she is totally upset. They tell her that when she awakes she will not remember anything. Lee tells her that after this they will let her run. Kelly at once understands that he will bring her back as the great hero. She tells them that they are both ill and if she will come out she will tell it to everybody. Renfro asks the men to hold her while he is giving an injection with a sedative to calm her down.

Augusta and Frank are sitting at the fire. She is already more than bored and Frank runs to tell Lionel that he can't go on anymore. Lionel gives him some courage and Frank tries his best. He starts kissing her and Lionel looks away.

Amy catches Brick on making notices and tells that she can't trust him anymore.

Cruz and Eden are back at the motel. Eden wants to go on searching while Cruz informs the local police that they will stay in this motel over night and if they could not bring them some blankets and something to eat. Eden does not want to share the mattress with Cruz but Cruz tells her that she can trust him he will not touch her unless she wants it.

Frank asks Augusta if they should not go over to the bed now. The notice Frank should read from the projector on the wall is turned around and Frank not knowing how to read is turning his head upside down.

Cruz and Eden are lying side on side. Cruz tells her that he finds it funny that he has to think on their marriage day. If the fire would be only one minute later then they would be married now. Eden tells him that they would not as they would already divorced. Cruz explains his position in a soft and loving way but Eden stops him by telling him that they better sleep now.

Ted tells Christy that she should not think that he does not like her but only as a friend. He loves Laken and he does not want to have anything to do with another girl. Ted is on going just when Laken comes in. Ted passes her telling somehow dry that he will phone to her. Laken asks Christy what happened but she tells that he might be upset as she did not come for such a long time.

Nick asks them to switch off the machine when one of the men recovers and hits him from the back. Nick presses the button of the machine before he falls to the ground.

Laken visits Ted in the Oriental Express and while pretending to read the menu she tells him full of joy that her mother is able to see. Ted shares her joy. Laken mentions on seeing Christy if something was going on with them. She always was telling from him before and now it is as if she is mad against him. Ted tells her that they only had a little dispute and this will go over.

Julia is making her fitness training. Brick comes in and asks Julia if he can ask her a question. He wants to know what she think about Jack Lee. Julia tells him that she is befriended with him but knows not much. Brick asks her if he can trust her as he is having a heavy problem. Julia says ok and they sit down for a talk.

Lee phones to Renfro and tells him that he and his men should stay and find Kelly and Nick while he is going out of town for a while. Now the hour of truth is coming near. Either New Stailand or prison.

The farmer couple visit Nick in their cow shed. Kelly is sleeping in the hay. They inform him that the police has been with them and they have told them that he has gone to the bunker. They are sorry that they did not trust him fully. Nick says that this is ok understanding that it was Cruz and Eden. He only is happy that he could bring back the motorcycle. He requests them to hide it for a while so that not the wrong people are getting a hint. The farmers have packed for them blankets and food for which they can live one week. The wife of the farmer finds Kelly very beautiful. Nick tells her that they have been very cruel to her and she has lost her memory.

Augusta is standing with Lionel at the airport while Lionel tries to arrange a room in the top class hotel for them by misusing the good name of CC. He is having no success.

Christy's sister Mary who has come with the garment of a nun invites Christy to come and see her mother at her birthday. Christy finally promises her to come.

CC interrupts Ted and Laken and wants to know from Ted why he has changed his subscription of the university. Laken gets up and tells him that he has done this because he wants to stay close to her and she has subscribed herself there. Ted tells CC that this is not the place to discuss this matter he has to work but CC asks them to follow him out to discuss this matter.

Nick talks to Kelly very kindly asking her how she feels. Kelly tells him that he wanted to tell her all about herself. Nick tells her that she should trust him. He could never hurt her. Kelly tells him that wants to learn everything from him before she is seeing again her family. First of all she wants to know how she looks like. Nick is showing to her her face in the little mirror from the motorcycle.

CC asks Laken not to put down Ted and to persuade him to go to the Harvard University. Ted tells him that he can decide by himself and nobody also not he should try to manipulate his decision. He is his own lord. CC says ok, then he should prove this and goes.

Julia tells Brick that she wants to summarise what he just told to her. Jack Stanfield Lee the adviser of the president should have something to do with the kidnapping of the baby of Amy. Brick tells her that he knows that it sounds mad but he is having proof for this. Julia says the accusation sounds so incredible that she thinks that it is worthwhile to check it up. She asks him how she can help. He asks her if she cannot arrange that he can look through Lee's files legally. Julia tells him that this is not possible. There is no visible guilt on him by which they can ask the police to search his office. She also finds that Jack Lee is acting in the last time much more different than the Jack she knows from former times and she will find it out. Brick says if only Amy also would also think like her. Julia tells him that she has a weakness for helping love couples and he can count on her in relations to information about Jack Lee. Brick is more than happy that she wants to help him and embraces her thankfully.

Renfro supposes that Jack Lee wants to go to see his cousin in New Stailand. Jack Lee says yes, he wants to see him just so long that he can be sure that he has killed him. The two men enter the room and tell that they have lost the track but they have sent already some other people in search for them. Lee's blood is boiling asking them if they don't know that if Nick and Kelly stay alive they are going into the prison.

Lionel enters a third class hotel room which was just left by a couple he has given $100 for making the room empty. The highway is close to the room and Augusta notices at once that the bed is not changed for the last month. Lionel gives in that they are here as he is not having much money and he wanted to be with her together. He is ashamed for this and if she wants he will bring her back home. Augusta asks him if she stays she can be then sure that it will be the night of the nights. Lionel promises this to her.

Julia sits on the desk of Jack Lee in his office. She writes a notice and sees a ticket for a flight to Vienna understanding that he intends to leave the city. Amy comes in and Julia starts to talk with her about Jack and her relation to Brick when Brick comes to see Amy. Amy starts at once to fight against him and Julia finds it better to go.

Nick is going on explaining all kind of things to Kelly. She tells him that it is strange that she has been married. It is all so beyond reality for her. She tells him that she knows that he is not going to harm her and that he is a good person. Nick asks her from where she knows this as she has forgotten him. She tells him that she can see all in his face and his eyes and the way he talks. She finds him very nice and peaceful even though there is something also in his eyes which shows pain and loneliness. She asks him if she can cry but then adds that now she cannot do it because she is happy. Nick tells her that sometimes people are also crying when they are very happy. Kelly asks him that if he ever cried out of happiness and Nick replies that he never has done this as he was never so happy. All of a sudden the farmer couple storm in and tell them that people from the criminal party are coming up the hill and they quickly should start for the mountains. Nick and Kelly start and the farmer is hiding the motorcycle.

Brick is going on to fight with Amy. He tells her that he knows that Lee is an accomplice of Renfro. She still protects Lee. All of a sudden Lee is calling for Amy and Amy signs Brick to hide himself behind the door. She then diverts Lee's concentration so that Brick can get out of the office without getting noticed by Lee. Amy gives the file Lee has forgotten and Lee rushes out again.

Ted and Christy are on fetching some plates. Christy takes this chance to tell him how sorry she feels about the way she was approaching him last time. Ted tells her that this is ok. He only wants her to respect that he is together with Laken which she promises.

Kelly tells Nick that she is thirsty and wants to take a break. They sit down and Kelly asks him if he is not having all this troubles only because of her. He tells her that it is not like this she only has seen something which she should not have seen and therefore they have taken away her memory. Nick asks her to stay while he is searching for the best way to go.

Augusta talks with Julia on the phone while Lionel is taking a shower. She tells her that she finds Lionel attempts to cheat her laughable. How a man loves is like his fingerprints everybody loves different. She stops as Lionel is coming. Julia thinks on what Augusta just told and wonders if this would be also fit to her. She finds that Augusta is right and the only way to find out if Jack Lee is really Jack Lee is to make love to him.

Ted is still serving some people in the Orient Express when he sees Christy coming back for work telling him that she has missed the bus and therefore she will stay. Ted offers her to bring her to her mother as he is anyway finish with his shift. Christy takes his offer.

Nick comes to fetch Kelly who is dancing around a bush telling him full of joy that she has discovered dancing. Nick asks her to stop and come along with him as first she has to be safe. He has found a place where they can stay.

Jack comes back from his lunch and tells Amy that she can go home for today. He will just make a phone to find out if Renfro is found.

Amy is just on going when Julia comes and Amy announces her. Jack shows himself not very friendly to her and is in a hurry. Julia tells him that she was thinking about their last meeting and she has come to the conclusion that he is the most wonderful man. She has seen his ticket to Vienna and wanted to ask him if he minds when she accompanies him. She will no more play with him. Jack tells her with joy that she will not be disappointed and she should be at 6 o'clock at the international terminal but should not let this known to anybody else.

Lionel is lying next to Augusta frustrated more than she that he is not able to love her. Augusta makes a remark that for the night of the night this was not very much and this might be the punishment for all what he has done to her.

Lee is on destroying all his files by letting it run through the machine. Brick comes in and asks him where Amy is. Lee tells him that she has gone home. Brick asks him what he is destroying. Lee tells him that this is nothing concern to him. Brick knocks Lee down and starts to read. He is not having much time for it because Lee's men are coming in and asking him to put up his arms by keeping him on gun point with their revolvers.

Nick brings Kelly to a ghost town he has found by accident and where he intents to stay with her. She finds it great and runs into one of the salons. She gets frighten by a figure in the wall which turns out to be a mirror showing herself which makes her laugh.
