Alexis learns that Lucky did report Sam's claim that she was attacked and that the real killer is still out there. Scott worries that Sam's attempted murderer is still on the loose. Johnny goes to Patrick saying that his father can move his toes. Mayor Floyd to go and look for Sam's cell phone. Logan pours his heart out to Lulu and tells her he knows that Luke raped his mother. Jason tells Monica that he knows that she was driving on the road the night that Sam was hit. Epiphany receives her son's ashes and tries to hide her grief. Jason tells Carly about her accident and asks her if she hit Sam. Luke finds Johnny on the roof ledge and says that he can easily get him out of Lulu's life for good. Morgan sneaks into Michael's room and goes under his bed. Epiphany breaks down while holding her son's ashes.

Georgie asks Spinelli if he found anything on Coop yet, he says that he has no record of a history of violence. Sonny tells Jason not to tell Johnny that he plans to retaliate, but to make him think he's offering a truce. Trevor tells Johnny that a meeting with Sonny is a sign of weakness. Lulu hides the note and puts it in her pocket, and asks Logan if he's following her. Kate tells Sonny that she'll lift the injunction if he'll remove the security from her house. Georgie tries to convince Maxie that Coop is no good, but she refuses to listen as Coop watches outside. Jason takes action when Spinelli informs him the he thinks that Cooper Barrett is the text message killer. Sam is touched at the idea of Lucky moving in with him. Spinelli is overjoyed when Jason points out the fact that Georgie likes him. Georgie mentions what happened in Iraq but Logan changes the subject. Georgie gets a text message to ask Maxie to meet me in the park. Jason enters Coop's room and looks around. A sniper takes aim at Sonny while he talks with Trevor.

Tracy realizes that Luke is working at Kelly's and wants her to live with him at his place upstairs. Spinelli gives Maxie the Valentine's Day gift that Coop was going to give her, Maxie is afraid to cause she'll think of Coop. Elizabeth is surprised when Nadine says that she wants children someday. Claudia asks Jason that if he wins he chooses, if she wins he dances with her. Kristina breaks down after spotting The Text Message Killer at the lake house, Alexis asks Kristina what she saw outside. Dr. Devlin asks Elizabeth to look after Sam. Jax arranges a special Valentine's Day present for Carly by visiting the praternity ward. Jason asks Spinelli does he have the address that he asked for. Nikolas tells Sam that he could be the one that hit her. Claudia sees Kate kiss Sonny and waits for Kate to leave and then moves in on him. Carly runs into Robin and they realize they are both pregnant. Jason and Spinelli manage to get into the PCPD impound building. Jax finds Carly passed and is concerned when he heard a gunshot, thinking she was hit, but she just collapsed. Nikolas is close to seeing the person who killed Emily. Jason tells Spinelli that he identified Logan as the killer without proof, Maxie says that Logan could be the killer. Logan tells Lulu that he maintains his innocence of not being the Text Message Killer. Claudia goes into Sonny's office, but Sonny stops Claudia before she can go any further. Michael realizes that Kate was hit. Dr. Devlin condones Patrick on his behaviour towards treating Nikolas. Elizabeth calls Jason and tells him that Nikolas had a seizure and he's seeing who really killed Emily. Emily knew all along that Nikolas couldn't kill her. Alexis lashes at Jerry who left Sam's room, and says that she was then attacked, Jerry says that he was burying someone. Max tells Sonny to escort Claudia her car and says that he doesn't want anywhere near him. A frightened Michael hides on a cargo ship and tosses the gun into the water. Claudia finds a wounded Kate on the pier and walks away. Logan explains he had the stuff cause he intended on framing Johnny. Nadine tells Nikolas to ask Emily what she remembers. Sonny screams when he sees Kate shot.

Tracy doesn't believe when Luke he presents her a belated Valentine's Day gift. Ric rescues Marianna from an abusive Randy, Marianna then refuses to leave with Ric. Claudia enters her father's hospital room hoping to smother him with a pillow. Sonny thinks that Johnny used Lulu for an alibi. Lucky tells Sonny to back off, Maxie tells Lulu now does she believe her about Logan. Sonny learns that there's a problem in Kate's surgery, and asks Bobbie what is wrong. Tracy realizes that the chocolates are filled with bourbon. Anthony wakes up and says that he knew she couldn't do it. Nikolas contemplates using the illegal drug that Dr. Devlin left for him. Logan starts to seize on the operating table, Maxie asks Lulu why she didn't let him die. Luke shows a bag full of clothes that Monica wore the night that Sam was hit as well as the flask. Mac asks Spinelli to watch over Maxie to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid. Jax learns of Kate's shooting, Bobbie tells him and Sonny that Kate is still fighting. Maxie secretly enters Logan's room and hovers over him.

Jax and Carly fight over Jason always around helping all the time, Jax then apologizes. Sonny tell Jason that if anyone could've shot Kate it would be Claudia, Jason says that there's no proof that the Zacchara's a behind her shooting. Trevor asks Claudia if she shot Kate, she says that she didn't. Elizabeth meets Marianna while seeing Ric, she then says about Randy abusing her. Patrick tells Scott and Mac that Logan might slip into a irreversible coma and may never wake up. The Text Message Killer breaks into Sam's apartment and breaks a photo of her. Jason tells Sonny that Michael's back pack was found, Sonny then realizes that Michael's disappearance and Kate's shooting are connected. Ric promises to make sure that nothing happens to Marianna. Jerry asks Alexis if there's any improvement on Kristina, Alexis says that there's no change. The Killer sees as Sam returns to her apartment, he wait for Lucky to leave for him to make his move. Johnny wants to take Lulu out on a real date, he asks her to go out to dinner with him. Jerry tells Jason that "Lorenzo Alcazar" has been making some withdraws in the past few months. Sonny arrives and shoots Johnny. The Killer takes off his mask and is revealed as a not so dead Diego Alcazar.

Diego realizes that Maxie is right outside the door. Maxie manages to avoid running into the Text Message Killer. Carly's stomach pains are diagnosed. Maxie gets a call from Mac saying that there's been a development in the Text Message Killer. Dr. Julian tells Epiphany she's going to be laid up a little longer. Carly tells Jax that Lorenzo Alcazar is in Port Charles. Alexis brings Kristina over to Ric's and there she meets Marianna. Claudia visits Kate and introduces herself, which causes her to seize. Sam makes an attempt to break a vase, but Diego makes sure it doesn't fall, Maxie then leaves and then takes Sam out of apartment. Scott approaches Spinelli and says that he has proof that Logan isn't the killer, and he was in fact in a bar fight the Sam was attacked. Robin is touched after learning what Patrick did for Joe Smith. Spinelli tells Maxie that Logan has an alibi for the night that Sam was attacked. Diego takes Sam to a warehouse, where she then sees explosives.

Sonny tells Jason that Claudia will never find Johnny. Diego grabs Elizabeth and pulls her into Sam's apartment. Patrick tells Robin wants to discuss the baby that she's carrying. Nikolas tells Nadine that he remembers seeing the person that killed Emily. Michael is awakened by someone pointing a gun at him. Maxie and Spinelli track the Text Message Killer. Joe goes to the hospital worried Angie and the baby. Nikolas tells Jason that Diego Alcazar is the one who killed Emily. Sonny is surprised to find Mike in Kate's hospital room. Max asks the Killer to step away when he sees Elizabeth in the car. Kelly tells Robin and Patrick that Angie has passed enemia to the baby, Andy also worries if she could've been taking something. Diego backs the car into Max and then takes off. Diego reveals himself to Elizabeth. Lulu runs into Claudia and asks if she's seen Johnny. Elizabeth attacks Diego, causing him to crash the car while crossing the bridge, the car goes through and hangs over.

Jason races to save Elizabeth and Sam from Diego, he then hears a gunshot. Patrick absorbs what Robin told him that he's going to be a father. Kate thinks Claudia is here to check out the competition. Sonny wants Trevor to tell Anthony that he'll get his son back when he gets Michael back. Spinelli tries to think of a way for him and Maxie to get out of there. Robin tells Patrick that she was worried that he could've been infected when they had sex, and was relieved that he tested negative. Diego and Jason struggle on the bridge. Claudia vows to destroy Sonny if Johnny is hurt. Trevor vows to Sonny that there's going to be consequences for his actions. Diego manages to get away leaving Jason to rescue Elizabeth and Sam. Robin refuses to let Patrick be apart of their child's life. Maxie and Spinelli realize that the possible suspect in the killings Diego is dead. Sam manages to get herself untied. Kate visualizes Sonny and Claudia together while he brings a time when he was happy. Claudia runs into Patrick when he arrives at Jake's for a drink. The car goes over the bridge with Sam in it. Robin has her first ultrasound.

Marianna is grateful to Ric for getting her a green card to stay in the U.S. Patrick says that Jason shouldn't go back to work period. Scott barges in the house and talks to Lulu, Luke then says that he should've kept Logan away from Lulu in the beginning. Nikolas tells Diego that he's going to pay for taking Emily away from him. Diego is finally thwarted. Spinelli is amazed when he breaks a bar off in order for Maxie to get free. Diego strangles Nikolas causing him to pass out. Jerry tells Alexis that he'll get Diane to sue her for breach of contract. Sam is puzzled by Ian's behaviuor. Spinelli passes out from smelling the chloroform, Maxie then sees Diego. Diane arrives to save Alexis from burning the midnight oil. Luke tells Alice to throw Scott out. Sonny sees Johnny writing music on the wall in the padded room. Det. Rodriguez arrives to question Jason and Elizabeth, but Patrick tells him to leave. Emily tells Nikolas that it's not his time to go yet, he then goes and tells Diego to let Maxie go, Maxie stabs Diego with a knitting needle and Nikolas then goes for him. Diego gets his neck caught and goes over the railing and dies. Luke tells Lulu that she wouldn't keep anything about her mother from him.
